Saving Lives. Empowering Communities. Building Resilience.

Community Aid for Humanitarian Organization (CAHO) is a South Sudanese national NGO delivering humanitarian and development support to vulnerable communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and crisis.

CAHO works with communities across South Sudan

We help improve access to essential services, protect vulnerable people, and strengthen local resilience through health, nutrition, WASH, education, protection, food security, livelihoods, peacebuilding, and community empowerment.

Where We Work

CAHO works across South Sudan, including Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Western Equatoria, Jonglei, Unity, and Upper Nile State.

Work with CAHO to reach communities that need support most.

We welcome partnerships with humanitarian agencies, donors, government institutions, civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, private sector partners, and community actors committed to improving lives in South Sudan.

How We Work

CAHO uses community-based, participatory, integrated, and sustainability-focused approaches to deliver practical humanitarian and development solutions.

Since its establishment in 2017, CAHO has supported women, youth, children, internally displaced persons, returnees, host communities, and other vulnerable groups through practical community-based interventions.
